Since 1988, Driver Education Academy has served Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids, and the surrounding communities. The academy specializes in comprehensive driver education programs for students as well as adults. Refresher driving programs, defensive driving programs, and driver evaluations for industry are fundamental to our purpose. Our programs are tailored to the specific needs of each participant.

Driver Education Academy offers the finest driver education programs available. Our academy is licensed by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation. We also meet all criteria set forth by the Department of Public Instruction.

We are a full-time driver education academy with over 30 years of professional instruction to students and industry. Driver Education Academy's primary mission is not teaching how to pass road tests, but to develop consistency in driving performance that leads to passing a road test, and more importantly, to develop smart driving habits that will sustain after licensing. We are currently celebrating 30 years of crash free instruction. We haven't put a scratch on a car in 30 years.

We provide services to students and industry, i.e. Marshfield Clinic, Roehl Transport, Renaissance Learning, St.Joseph Hospital, etc. Special services are provided to: Wood, Clark, Adams, and Portage Counties. We have serviced students from all high schools within a 100-mile radius and have licensed over 10,000 students and nearly 2,000 adults.

Classroom Instruction To instruct factual, accurate, realistic concepts of the driving task that will build positive attitudes, resulting in driving being a cognitive process based on vision, not merely a manipulative process.

Behind-the-Wheel Instruction: With parental support, to train young drivers through specific repetitive sequential procedures and reactionary skills based on vision and knowledge, which over time, will develop safe driving habits—thus eliminating teen crashes.
